Zanjan, IRAN- Head of the Iran Transplant Organ Procurement (Iran-TOP) Dr. Katayoun Najafizadeh said on Saturday that Iranian specialists have necessary knowledge and expertise for tissue and organ transplant.

Najafizadeh told IRNA that Iranian knowledge standard for organ and tissue transplant surgery is very high, keeping up with the latest world standard.

She said that Iranian surgeons are highly skilled to produce tissue and transplant them and well perform necessary operations.

The pulmonologist at the Lung Transplantation Unit, National Research Institute of TB and Lung Disease, further commented that the benevolent people's support to provide different kinds of specialized equipment for transplant surgeries is praiseworthy.
