The "Leopard of Iran" gone missing on Mont Blanc

Iranian experienced mountaineer Mahdi Amidi Ahang has not yet found after more than one month. Amidi, known as snow leopard of Iran, was last seen on 16th October at near the Tete Rousse refuge on the Mont Blanc in the Alps.

His family issued a statement on Monday, announcing the mountaineer has not been discovered yet and it seem he has passed away on the Mont Blanc.

Mahdi Amidi Ahang successfully climbed both Everest and Lhotse, famed for being the first Iranian climber to summit these peaks without supplementary Oxygen.
