Nazhvan Forest Park is one of the natural and recreational attractions of Isfahan. Nazhvan, with an are of 1200 hectares, is the biggest park west of the city of Isfahan. Nazhvan is composed of "Naj" which means pine in Persian and "van" which means place in Persian. Thus Nazhvan means a place with lots of pine trees.
Isfahan's famous river of Zayanderood passed through the heart of this park, making it different from other parks in the province. One can experience the most beautiful view of sunrise and sunset in the Park. This Park provides facilities including the following: sport station, pool, camp sites, bird garden, horse riding, yachting, bicycling, and butterfly garden.
