The 7th Marivan International Street Theater Festival announced the winners during the closing ceremony on Tuesday. The winners were awarded in three main sections of the event; international section, Iran competition section, and children and young adults.

Mokhtar Mohammadi won the Best Director Award for his play "Station" in the International Section of the event. Michael Ulfik from Germany won the Best Actor Prize for his role in "Where are You From" in this section.

The Best Actress Award of this section went to Kajal Rastbin for her role in "Residuary".

The Best Director Award in the Iran Competition Section went to Suran Hosseini for "Last Performance". The Best Actor Award went to Mostafa Hadi Alaei for his role in "Unaware Reporter".

Kajal Rastbin won the Best Actress Award in this section again for her role in "Residuary".

In the Children and Young Adult Section of the event, the Best Director Award went to Rana Qaderi for "Reverse Reverse World".

The Best Actor Award went to the casts of the play "Ghool Ghoolak" and Rana Qaderi won the Best Actress Award in this section.

Seven foreign theater troupes came from Germany, India, France, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, Iraq and Indonesia and competed in the International Section of the festival this year.

Thirty-one Iranian troupes also performed in the Iranian Competition Section. The Children's Section has also been added to this year's festival.

The troupes gave performances in Sarvabad, Barderasheh, Kanidinar and several other villages near Marivan.
