The American Iranian Council (AIC) invites you to attend a timely conference titled, “US-Iran direct talks: is there a breakthrough in the horizon?” The event will take place at Metropolitan Club of New York on April 19, 2013 from 6-8pm.
This event is a part of the AIC's flagship project, “Mapping US-Iran Peace," which aims to facilitate a constructive dialogue between Iran and the United States. The lack of direct communication between the two countries has become a serious obstacle to nuclear negotiations.
The Council has strived to improve US-Iran relations for over two decades, never ceasing to advocate for a diplomatic resolution to their conflict. The conference brings together prominent speakers to discuss the prospects for a diplomatic breakthrough. We are pleased to announce that Ambassador of Iran to the United Nations, Mohammad Khazaee has confirmed participation.
