Iran successfully sends second monkey into space
TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers have sent and recovered an explorer into space carrying live creature with the aim of developing space researches.

The explorer dubbed 'Pajouhesh' (research) carrying a monkey (Fargam) conducted its sub-orbit mission successfully to make Iran closer to sending human to space.

The explorer traveled a suborbit route up to 120 KM in 15 minutes and could come back with the living creature safe and sound.

Iranian space researchers registered and controlled environmental signs of the biocapsule including sound, photos, gas combination, vital signs of the living creature such as ecg, the indicators of the general state during flight time. They witnessed the signs every moment in ground stations.

The information has assisted Iranian researchers to work on biospace, physiology, aerospace and biomedical engineering on space technology.
