The report indicates that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif spoke
on the telephone with EU foreign policy Chief Catherine Ashton to discuss the
current progress in the negotiations, and they agreed that the talks will be
paused until after the Christmas break.
Talks at the expert level began three days ago between Iran and the 5+1 to establish how to implement the agreement reached in Geneva between the two parties.
An earlier round of talks came to a sudden halt after the U.S. expanded its blacklist of companies and entities that do business with Iran.
