The Louvre museum in Paris is slated to hold an event showcasing a series of photographs and films by Iranian photographer and filmmaker, Shirin Neshat, on February 3, 2013.

The program features an exhibition of photos from her latest collection "The Book Of Kings" and the screening of some of her films: Turbulent, Rapture, Women without Men ...

Through her many achievements, the Iranian photographer and videographer Shirin Neshat offers the image of oriental women who refuse any form of victimization, and she seeks, instead, to reveal the obstinacy that exists behind the veil. Her creations draw borders and boundaries that unite and separate worlds.

The event will be held on February 3, 2012, at Auditorium du Louvre sous la pyramide, In Paris.
