Iran's representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced that Iran and the agency will hold further talks in Tehran on Wednesday February 13.
Ali Asghar Soltanieh told Al-Alam network on Tuesday that the new round of talks with the IAEA representatives will begin on February 13 in Tehran.
The IAEA delegation travelled to Iran last month to discuss disputes over Iran's atomic program and to come up with a framework to break the impasse in negotiations. While both sides expressed optimism about the meeting, it did not yield any concrete breakthroughs.
The IAEA wants to inspect Parchin Military Base, but Iran claims that Parchin is not linked to its nuclear program and, because it is a military facility, its inspection could compromise security.

The IAEA inspectors have so far found no evidence of any military component in Iran's nuclear program. Iran insists that its program is peaceful; however, IAEA chief Yukiya Amano has said that he cannot say for certain that Iran's nuclear program has no military component.
Iran has indicated that an inspection of Parchin might be arranged once the appropriate protocol for the inspection is agreed upon.
Nuclear talks between Iran and the world powers are also scheduled for next month.
