|Writer-director Abbas Kiarostami holds a degree in fine arts and started the film division at the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults at the age of 30, which has since produced works by more than a dozen Iranian filmmakers. Kiarostami has been nominated for the Palme d'Or fives times and won for Taste of Cherry in 1997.|
