Iran defeated Turkey 4-3 in the first match of the 2013 Greco-Roman wrestling World Cup in Tehran on Tuesday. The Iranian team next overcame Kazakhstan 6-1 and will wrestle with Hungary and Azerbaijan later in the day. It is predicted that Iran and Russia will face each other in the final.

The 2013 World Cup Tournament for freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling is being held in Tehran from February 19 to 22, 2013.
