About the Designer

Afsoon Talai graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in graphic design before moving to New York City, where she worked as a designer for InStyle magazine and Fete, an event-planning company. The idea for Golreezan was born in 2011 when Afsoon's mom asked her to design custom Norouz cards for friends.

Since its launch, Golreezan has become a natural way for Afsoon to bring together her Iranian heritage and love for beautiful paper products.
