Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

According to the official website of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei deemed it necessary to reflect upon the events after the Revolution in recent 3 decades, and learning lessons from historical events of the Islamic Revolution. “Some people deemed the Iranian people’s victory against arrogant Pahlavi regime, and emancipation of Iran from American humiliating domination as impossible, but with the help from God, monarchy regime belonged to history, and Islamic Republic and Iranian people gained independence from the U.S. and turned into a government whose name thrilled the world nations,” he asserted.

The Supreme Leader also believed recent 3 decades of success as fulfillment of God’s promise, and , drawing upon several Koranic verses, said that pious, sober, and staminal nations would definitely and determinately be helped by God, and that is God’s unchanging tradition, and accordingly, Iranian nation will defeat its enemies in this and other stages.

Sanctions purportedly to exhaust Iranian nation and push authorities to retreat, unattainable objective

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized the importance of accurately setting objectives, Iranian pure words in the world, and the measures to achieve these objectives, and added that “if our dear nation and spirited and strong young Iranians continue their path unswervingly, doubtless, according to God’s unchangeable tradition, they will change the course of history and the conditions for the Coming of the Messiah (as) will be favorable.”

Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to complicity of arrogant powers in posing sanctions on Iran and pushing the nation to the edge, and said that, contrary to the past, arrogant powers admitted that sanctions were intended to frustrate the nation, inciting people against Islamic Republic, mounting pressure on authorities, and consequently, change the outcome for calculations by the authorities.

“In this great land, people welcome Islam and the Revolution, and their national pride is added every day, which is diagonally opposed the enemies’ interests,” he added.

He pointed to enemies ploys to achieve their objectives in Iranian elections, and added that “in all countries, necessary considerations are taken. Why some attempt to bring doubts on the minds of people that voting in the elections is useless.”

He also criticized those who inculcate in people’s minds that elections were not healthy, and deemed these among ploys the arrogant powers use to achieve their objectives.

The Supreme Leader also asserted that “of course, I am insistent that elections are held in full health and freedom, and government officials and also non-governmental agents who are committed to observing rules and impartiality will hold free and healthy elections for sure.”

Enemies’ objective is weakening voting turnout in elections, but, with help From God, it will be held with massive turnout

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution commented on enemies’ methods to bring a low turnout in elections, and added that “some agents may entertain people with other economic, political and security issues, which falls among the ploys, and I am quite sure that Iranians are too alert and sober to be deceived by enemies’ trickery.”

“Presidential candidates should be committed to constitution and state, and should execute the constitution, for the president takes oath, and he should not breach his oath,” he added.

Ayatollah Khamenei also added that with help from God, and His attentions, June elections will be a massive turnout.
