Photos by Hamid Sadeghi, Mehr News Agency

"Pateh" is a kind of Iranian handicraft and needlework of colorful wool sewn on women's wear, scarf, and purse. Sewn in the "Toranj" (bergamia), "Sarv" (cypress), and "Booteh" (shrub) patterns (traditional Iranian carpet patterns). Pateh, typically creation of Iranian women and girls, is a spectacular image of colorful flowers and shrubs.

If you like wearing local and traditional garments, we recommend you to travel to Kerman, southern Iran. The area's local clothing style is unmatched in the world.
