President of the Islamic Republic of Iran says that Iran would make money ten times as oil income through new innovations in science and technology.

Addressing the audience during the inauguration of constructive projects of Hamadan Province, held in Hamadan International Airport on Tuesday, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believed that Iran has been always the bed for great figures in history. "I believe that the Almighty God has bestowed Iranian nation with, if not unique features, unparalleled characteristics, and Iranians have proved this during history," he asserted.

Ahmadinejad said that Iranians had never been idol worshipers, nor had they been slave-traders. "We had never wished evil of others, and others' plights had disturbed us," he stated. "In Iraq, some powers came and occupied the country, and no country other than Iran stood with Iraqi nation," he added.

He pointed to Iran's natural wealth such as land, saying that "Iran has 187.3 million hectares, 47 million hectares of which are arable. Water is enough for development. We should use water optimally. "

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also said that 20 million households live in Iran, of which 5 to 6 million household own land. "We can provide the remaining 15 million households with lands to work on, and save the budget," he said. "The prevalence of western way of thinking has limited our way of thinking. We should reform ourselves. 2000 years ago, roads had been constructed in this country, and now, we can do so as well," the President said.

He also pointed to European sanction on Iranian oil, saying that "We do not need Europeans purchasing our oil. We would make money ten times as oil income through new innovations in science and technology."

"Doing so releases massive energy of Iranians and directs it into places where others make trouble for us inside and outside, such as exchange rate crisis," he added.

Ahmadinejad believed that Iranian people had started moving toward summits. "Enemies to justice would impede our movement towards the apex," he added.
