The governor of the southern Hormuzgan Province, Ebrahim Azizi, told state television that one of the injured "is not in a good condition and has been hospitalized."

Last month, an earthquake measuring 7.8 killed one person in Iran's southeast and left some 40 people dead across the border in Pakistan.
