Source: Radio Zamaneh

Four Iranian political prisoners have begun a hunger strike to protest the lack of adequate medical care for prisoners. According to HRANA, human rights lawyer Abdolfattah Soltni, human rights activist Mehdi Khodayi and political activists Amir Khosro Delirsani and Saeed Madani began a hunger strike on Saturday November 2 in ward 350 of Evin Prison.

The prisoners have named 30 inmates in need of immediate medical care.

In another report, human rights groups indicate that prisoners at Evin and Rejais Shahr Prisons have begun hunger strikes to protest the installation of satellite interference waves around the prison.

According to this report, the interference affects mobile phone reception but it also causes headaches and nausea among the prison population.
