Western officials released details of the new report on Thursday November 14, informing Reuters that Iran has practically stopped activities at its Arak heavy-water plant as well.

Iran previously had announced that the heavy-water facilities in Arak would launch within the first three months of 2013 but it later suspended activities at this facility.

Iran and the 5+1 are in the midst of forging a nuclear deal that would end years of impasse.

The Obama administration has been trying to persuade the U.S. Congress to delay the intensification of sanctions against Iran.

Israel has denounced the prospect of any deal with Iran, with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu stressing that the recent IAEA report does not ease any of his country's concerns.
