Iran takes 1st place in World Classic Bodybuilding Championships

Iran came first in the IFBB World Classic Bodybuilding Championships 2014 on Sunday. The competitions held in La Nucia, Spain from December 12-15. Iran claimed one gold, one silver and one bronze medal and won the title with 49 points.

2014 IFBB classic bodybuilding up to 180 cm category world champion:
Mohammad Ranipour (Iran).

Silver medal went to Spain with 42 points bagging one gold and one bronze.

South Korea finished in third place with one gold and one bronze medal and 37 points. (See full results)

A total of 144 athletes from 36 countries took part in the event.

Iran had five representatives in the final stage, more than all the participating countries.
