President Congratulates Iran National Football Team On Twitter

President Hassan Rouhani tweeted a congratulation message Monday night after Iran and Nigeria played out a dull 0-0 draw in their World Cup Group F clash in the Brazilian city of Curitiba.

The President who had watched the play live on TV tweeted, ˈI am proud of our players that could gain their first score in the World Cup 2014.ˈ

The President hoped ˈthis would be the first score of many scores that are to be gardened by them during the world contest in Brazil.ˈ

Iranˈs next match will be with Argentina on June 21.
