Iranian researchers at Tehran's Sharif University of Technology have designed a fish robot imitating motions of living organisms and could be used for research, industry and military purposes.
"The fish robot has learned swimming from mixture of motions of tuna and shark," Dr. Mohammad Ali Abbaspour, the project director said.
He also noted that these robots can be used for research purposes, including maritime environment, military purposes such as investigating under-water installments and military purposes as well.
The system could be vastly used in military industries because it is radar evasive. It can also be applied for investigating environmental conditions of aquatic.
