It is highly unlikely that Zuckerberg would appear.

The report quoted Ruhollah Momen Nasab, an official with the paramilitary Basij force, as saying the judge also ordered the two apps blocked.

Howeber, AP says users in Tehran still could access both applications around noon on May 27.

Facebook is already banned in Iran, along with other social websites like Twitter and YouTube.

However, some senior Iranian officials like Foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif are active on Twitter.

Iran's youth and other technological-savvy citizens use proxy servers and other means to bypass the controls.
