12.000 European tourists register to visit Iran

Head of Iran Tourism Operators' Association Ebrahim Pour-Faraj said 12.000 European tourists have registered for visiting Iran via Golden Eagle Danube Express. The luxurious train with 13 wagons can carry only 150 passengers, and it should arrive in Iran 80 times if it wants to bring all of the tourists to Iran.

He added that the number of wagons can be raised after investigating the recent two visits done by the train to Iran.

Pour-Faraj, further added that figures obtained from the number of people registered in Golden Eagle Company's website show the passengers are mostly from America, Britain, Australia, Germany and France.

He also continued that the train ticket ranges between 9000-15000 dollars, and it would not change.
