Source: Radio Zamaneh

Tehran has announced that due to the decline in air quality, emergency services will be available in various locations around the capital to attend to citizens as needed starting Monday November 17.

IRNA reports that in addition to emergency vans, ambulances will be available in the city's five major squares.

Meanwhile, the head of Tehran Emergency has called on seniors, children and those suffering from heart and lung complications to avoid unnecessary trips outside.

Officials are recommending a greater consumption of dairy products, which reportedly will help in eliminating toxins from the body.

Schools have cancelled their morning exercise session due to heavy pollution.

The meteorology department has announced that an unstable air system from the northwest will improve air quality within two days.
