He is a Founding Partner at Griffon Capital, a corporate finance and asset management firm. In 2014, he led the Sarava/DigiKala transaction, the only cross-border M &A in Iran's technology sector at a c.$150m valuation, an unprecedented valuation for an Iranian business of its kind. Putting Iran's technology sector on the global map, the deal has attracted significant international interest and is seeing other global players follow suit.

Mano Vafai, Partner, Xona Partners
As an industry veteran with a multi-disciplinary skill set, Mano brings extensive experience ranging from strategy, business development, and solutions architecture to M&A, building strategic partnerships, and product development. He has worked both for public and leading edge start-up companies in the Mobile Internet, Wireless Networking and semiconductor industries. A graduate of Purdue University with MSEE degree, Mano has played a pivotal role in several industry initiatives like MSF, ETSI, NGMN , LSTI and WiMAX forum.

Fred Korangy, CEO, MAPS Technology Center
Fred Korangy is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of business and operational experience in variety of fields from real estate development, finance, to high technology and strategic planning. Proven ability to manage concept-to-product cycles. Entrepreneurial view on business with focus on growth and results. Strong financial and organizational skills with focus on start-ups and emphasis on leadership, contracts, human resources and financial and legal transaction structuring for High Technology firms. He has raised more than $100M for his own technology startups. His companies have developed and sold state of the art telecom solutions in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. His last company LogicTree was ranked 83rd fastest growing high technology firm in the US by Deloitte. He has over 20 years of international business experience in United States, Europe and MENA region. He is the CEO of NEEI a venture capital fund based in United Arab Emirates. He has a BS in Economics, BBA in Management and an MS in Technology Management. He holds three patents in the US in various technologies. He has been a lecturer on entrepreneurship at UMUC, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, and Columbia University. He is Currently the Chief Mentor at MAPS Technology Center the first high tech support center in Iran which he founded.
