Mohmmadreza Nikzad, an executive member of the Tehran Teachers' Association, and Mehdi Bohlouli, an independent teacher activist, were arrested in their homes by security forces on Monday August 31.

There are no reports about where they are or the charges against them.
The head of the Teachers' Association, Esmail Abdi, was arrested in July and remains in Evin Prison, accused of "collusion to disrupt national security" and "propaganda against the regime".
Rasoul Bedaghi, Ali Akbar Baghani and Alireza Hashemi are another three teachers' rights activists currently in jail for their labour activism.
