Iran's ultraconservatives have sounded the trumpet of support for Donald Trump's promise to rescind the nuclear agreement with Iran in case he succeeds in his run for the U.S. presidency.
Hossein Shariatmadari, the head of the Keyhan daily who has been a staunch critic of the nuclear agreement, said on Thursday March 31: "The wisest action of this mad Trump would be tearing up the Joint Plan of Action."
Shariatmadari described the nuclear agreement as the "most bitter" event of the past year.

Donald Trump has said that one of the priorities of his foreign policy as U.S. president would be the cancellation of the nuclear agreement with Iran.
Last July, Iran and the 5+1 signed the Joint Plan of Action in Geneva, putting an end to over a decade of nuclear disputes and ending international sanctions against Iran in exchange for a series of concessions regarding the curbing of Iran's nuclear program.
