Performance: Whispers of Spring with Mamak Khadem
The world premiere of Whispers of Spring, a multimedia musical performance by one of the wonders of world trance music, Mamak Khadem and her ensemble. Please note that this program requires a ticket ($20 per guest). All other programs are free and not ticketed. Purchase online
12:30 pm | Bing Theater
Dance and musical performances, a traditional Iranian costume parade, and a beautiful Haft Sin display.
3-4 pm | L.A. Times Central Court and Hancock Park
Live concert by the evolutionary force in contemporary Middle Eastern music, NIYAZ, featuring their 21st century global trance tradition, blending medieval Sufi poetry and folk songs from their native Iran and its surrounding countries.
5 pm | Hancock Park
LACMA, museum-wide | 11:30 am-7 pm
Free and open to the public (some parts of the event are ticketed). | Performances that take place in the Bing Theater require tickets.
