Individuals from Iran and America oftentimes have different ideas of the concept of running."Running toward dreams" may simulate the image of a rocking horse that moves repeatedly, but goes neither forward nor backward. -Maryam Amirvaghefi
I remember a day when I was talking to a friend about heaven: heaven as an ideal place in an alternative world, where you can do whatever you want. My friend said, "Heaven, to me, is a place where I can paint all of the time with no limitations or distractions." At that moment, the only thing we wanted was to make art. It definitely sounds senseless for those who are out of this circumstance, but there is a great crowd of people who behave insanely with this unreal dream in mind. A dream is a place that consumes you; however, you may never reach it. The word "dream" embraces a wide range of ideas, such as Individual dreams, global dreams or something in-between, including both. There are various kind of artwork related to the general idea being shown in this exhibition, in which the artists exhibit their own dreams. -Ziba Rajabi
