The following photographs were captured by Mahshid Modares, an Iranian/American visual artist residing in California, in 2005. The artist states: "People's comments and photographs posted on the fences were equally impressive and vivid. I could feel the sorrow and indignation in every word and every object left in the site. I felt they each deserve to become an art piece to become immortal."
