Tehran - Two Iranian passenger planes belonging to Mahan Air and Iran Air collided in Imam Khomeini Airport on Tuesday, an official said. Spokesman for the Civil Aviation Organization Reza Jafarzadeh told IRNA that the incident was a minor one which caused no casualties.
Jafarzadeh said the causes of the incident were under investigation.
He said the incident was not a significant one so it could be classified as a plane crash.
According to the official, the collision caused no serious problems for the airport.
Stressing that nobody was injured during the incident, he said that the Mahan flight's passengers are being moved to a substitute airplane.
