In the second game it was Tan Zhongyi who had better chances but Anna Muzychuk found managed to organize counter play, which most probably would guarantee her chances to keep the balance.

It seems Anna Muzychuk could not stand enormous pressure any more! After White's next move 40.g4 with mate the game was over.

Tan Zhongyi became 16th Women's World Champion and the fifth Chinese player who won the highest title in the chess history.
