Stanford To Host New Play By Reza Allamehzadeh: "The War Owl"

The War Owl looks at the evils of war as initially rendered in Iran's grand epic poem, Shahnameh, and revisited by Bahar, the country's twentieth century master lyricist. The play is written and directed by Reza Allamehzadeh, with the solo performance of Hamid Abdolmaleki and live musical accompaniment by Faramarz Aslani.

Part of the Stanford Festival of Iranian Arts

Play is in Persian and will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. Please allow time to find parking and locate the venue.

The Hamid and Christina Moghadam Program in Iranian Studies fosters the interdisciplinary study of Iran as a civilization.
