Khorramabadi hopes new Judiciary chief would bring about vital changes
Tehran, Aug. 27, irna -- Tehran's substitute friday prayers leader ayatollah seyyed Hassan Taheri-Khorramabadi here Friday referring to the rercent appointment of ayatollah Seyyed Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi as the new chief of the judiciary branch, hoped that the new judiciary head would be able to bring about transformation in the judiciary system with the help of dedicated and devoted legal experts.

Ayatollah Khorramabadi also referring to the bitter events that took place at the Tehran university dorm and the people's rally of the Tir 23 (July 14) that followed to demonstrate nation's unity and solidarity, said the enemy with opportunistic motives was trying to exploit the situation to harm unity and solidarity of the people.

Underlining that there is no objection for criticizing others' policies, the ayatollah called on the press media to help deepen the unity and solidarity of the people and avoid fanning factional issues and political differences.

The friday prayer leader then noted that the people's rally and their message of unity was further strengthened through the address made by ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the islamic revolution and the speech of president hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mohammad Khatami during his tour to the Hamadan province.

The ayatollah then extended his condolences to the nation and the muslims around the world on the anniversary of martyrdom of hadhrat Fatemah Al-zahra (sa) the noble daughter of the last messenger of the almighty allah (sawa), the wife of first imam and commander of the faithful hadhrat Ali Ibn Abitalib (as) and mother of Imam Hassan (as) and imam Uussein (as).

He also condoled with the nation on the anniversary of martyrdom of president Mohammad-Ali Rajaei and prime minister Mohammad-Javad Bahonar. their martyrdom anniversary commemorates the week of government in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Ayatollah Khorramabadi also expressed his condolences on the martyrdom anniversaries of Seyyed Mehdi Araqi and Asadollah Lajevardi, the true adherents of imam khomeini, the father of islamic revolution and founder of Islamic Republic of Iran. The two distinguished personalities also attained martyrdom at the hands of the terrorist Mojahedin Khalq elements.

The Friday prayer leader also expressed deep sorrow and sympathy on the tragic earthquake in a moslem country of Turkey, which took a great toll, on behalf of the muslim ummah and the nation. He prayed for the souls of the deceased and patience and perseverance for the bereaved families and fast recovery of the injured. pm/dh
